Patti, a homemaker since the birth of our daughter Taryn in 1986, has worked as a Community Worker for DERA in Vancouver as well as in Food Preparation and in Banking. Her greatest pleasure in hosting our B & B is to bring forth cries of delight from around the breakfast table as guests tuck in to the lovingly prepared culinary cornucopia that issues from her kitchen. Mike, a school counsellor, has also worked as a teacher in an alternate school setting, a Child and Youth Therapist, and a staffing co-ordinator and supervisor at an adolescent treatment centre. 

Helping to host our Bed and Breakfast has been a great way to steer clear of  taking my day job home with me. Welcoming guests from around the world into our home has been a pleasure I always look forward to when I come home. 

Taryn, our daughter, is a college student. Gregarious and chatty by nature, she does a great job greeting guests when Patti and I are out.
