Many restaurants offer fresh seafood (including the famous local Fanny Bay oysters), exotic meats from nearby farms (such as fallow deer venison, emu and ostrich) and local organic produce in season. 

The Comox Valley boasts a variety of ethnic restaurants. Japanese, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai, Mexican, Mediterranean, German, French and Chinese cuisine are all represented in the valley.
